On our home page you will find our new Project what-dish-size tool which makes it easier to find the illusive facts on what dish size you need and where in the World. When trying the receive Sky around the world it becomes harder and harder to establish what dish size you need and where you need it, as well as if you can receive Sky TV in the first place.

The aim of the new tool is to provide a platform in which prospective Sky TV viewers can find out what dish size they need in a given location and for current Sky TV viewers to share with the tool what dish size they have that receive Sky TV where they live.

The tools uses a Google map interface which makes it easy to view and share the locations of various dish sizes.

The tool is an open tool as we believe this is the best way to share this type of information in an easy and accessible way. However the information given is presented as a guide only for what dish size you may need although it is monitored closely to prevent spammers submitting way off dish sizes and causing problems.

The coolest09 thing we think is that it show where the Sky satellite resides in it’s geostationary orbit and on the viewer, you can see all the submitted dishes pointing to the once source.
